Testimonials from your Tourizoom companions: Lost on the way to the train station in Figueras
August 27th 2009 - Richard explains: "We received a call from a customer in panic: she could not find her way to the train station and she had a train to catch! She called Tourizoom as a last resort thinking maybe we could assist her by giving her turn by turn directions. We did! We managed to guide her from her location to the train station; and she managed to catch her train minutes before departure. The customer was beyond relief, and for us, what a feeling of accomplishment!" |

Testimonials from your Tourizoom companions: Interpreter needed for a physical therapy session in Munich
August 24th 2009 - Nathalie explains: "While in Munich, Ms F. booked a daily physical therapy session for this week. She requested us to find a French/German interpreter, or French/Spanish interpreter willing to attend the session with her so that she could communicate with the therapist. This was an unusual request difficult to fulfill! After a series of phone calls, I was finally able to find a female interpreter (which we thought would be more appropriate and comfortable for Ms F.) and introduced to two parties to arrange a meeting. After finalizing the details with the interpreter, Ms F. called us back to thank us for our help. Hopefully, after a week of physical therapy and good communication, all her aches and pains will be gone!" |

Testimonials from your Tourizoom companions: Broken windshield in Berlin August 20th 2009 - Richard explains: "A customer called from Germany around 6:30pm. The windshield of her van had just broken and she needed assistance in finding a garage who would repair it quickly. I found a garage close to where the customer was staying, and made an appointment with the technician for the following day, first thing in the morning (7am). On a side note, it is interesting know that garages close at 6:30pm in Germany. The customer thanked us many times and was very pleased with our help because she does not speak German and was starting to panic a little." |

Testimonials from your Tourizoom companions: High fever in Barcelona
August 15th 2009 - Jérôme explains: "A very concerned lady called us today around noon. Her boyfriend had spent 2 days in bed in his hotel room with a high fever which apparently would not go down despite all the aspirin he kept taking. I calmly suggested to her to take action immediately. First I suggested calling the global European emergency number "112" where I explain she should be able to find multilingual medical assistance. As a backup, I also offer to look for a French speaking doctor in Barcelona; or at least a doctor willing to come to the hotel for a visit. She agrees. I looked for the information and called her back with the names and phone numbers for 3 French speaking doctors in the city. Thankfully, calling "112" had already solved the problem; and a doctor was already on the way. I tell her how happy and relieved I am and remind her that I am here to help with interpreting from Spanish if needed. She was very grateful but I tell her with a smile that I am a white Knight in Shining Armor disguised as an operator; therefore being helpful is only but my duty :)" |
